Sink Holds Narrow Lead for Florida Governor

A new Mason-Dixon poll in Florida shows Alex Sink (D) leading Rick Scott (R) in the race for governor, 44% to 40%.

Key finding: Scott was seen in a positive light by only 24% of likely voters surveyed in the poll, while 45% held a negative opinion of him.

Said pollster Brad Coker: "The fact that he can have such baggage and still run close tells you a little bit about what's going on in the bigger picture."
