White House vows to strengthen ties with Dem govs

Gov. Martin O'Malley, D-Md., gestures during the Democratic Governors Association luncheon in Washington on Wednesday.The White House on Wednesday pledged to work more closely with the nation's Democratic governors after a tumultuous election year marked by a strained relationship.
